One and the same and more sightings have been reported in the Preserve, to S.O.'s immediate east end.

Mountain lions prey on deer, skunks, porcupines, and rabbits which are abundant in S.O. and the Preserve. They also occasionally eat dogs and livestock like goats and cattle which are here too. I don't think they are a recent arrival to the neighborhood. About five years ago I saw a mountain lion along Musket Rim near where the "white houses" were built. I never mentioned it to anyone because I thought...they were here first.
